It looks like a wish version of Armata at least from the outside. Obviously it is different internally since Armata has an unmanned turret. NK has been working closely with russia especially recently so i would not be shocked if they are copying aspects of russian designs. Pretty sure russia has captured leopards so they could have sent an engine to NK for reverse engineering. What i suspect we will see in the future is a very close partnership with russia and nk since nk already supplies a lot of russian outsourced labor. So they will use ukraine as a testing ground for jointly developed systems. This is also why putin is not pushing so hard in ukraine contrary to western propaganda claims of russian weakness. They are doing the same thing america does. Profit from wars and develop new systems.

It's gotten so bad that they've had to redesign their tanks.. Those aren't actually half scale models, they ARE the actual tank.!! Apparently there's plenty of room for a crew of 8 inside.! 😉 😉 😂 😂

The problem here is that you are treating the things we saw as credible hints. Knowing how places like that operate, everything you see in the video could just as well be totally random nonsense. They could just have put different types of ammo for different tanks/guns/whatever in that display and they could just have made up stuff completely. The tank ammo on the poster could just be copied and pasted from the internet. That is how things are done in China and I don't see why North Korea would be any better. The Chinese military has used special effects shots from Hollywood movies to showcase supposed new wonder weapons. This is how things work in China: The big dictator decides that he wants something to happen and tells one of his underlings he is in charge of the project and has a budged of X RMB. The underling will then pocket half that money himself and pass the job on to one of his underlings. That underling does the same and so the project gets handed further and further down, with the budged being embezzled piece by piece on every step, until in the end the nephew of some village mayor gets 500 bucks to download something from the internet on his home computer and that is then sold as the result of the project. For all we know, this new wonder tank actually might be a T-62 under some cosmetic sheet metal or even wood.

S. Korea extensively uses a very modern HEAT sub caliber round, it is supposed to be multi role against most tanks, personnel (has pre formed fragments and can airburst) and buildings Sure, S.Korea has APFSDS rounds, some really new ones but, if you check what is going on in the Ukraine-Russia war it might make sense to expect the S.Korean tanks to mainly carry/have loaded the HEAT-MP-T rounds for multi role usage the HEAT will struggle against a well functioning APS and reactive armor, if the APS design is imported tech from Russia (looks like the T14 APS) it might affect the APFSDS too

10:46 I would have to be skeptical about North Korea being able to widely field active protection systems when Russia has so far failed to do so on any substantial scale that I'm aware of. I should further clarify I mean in practical reality I'm aware that Russia has developed such systems but last I heard they had not actually been seen in action most anywhere. I recently thought that going with T-62 derivatives (which have human loaders and unitary shots) enables Korean People's Army to have extra long and potentially more penetrative APFSDS than those used in Soviet and post-Soviet tanks with autoloaders. Seems like Koreans know that too.

Having the ATGMs on the side is an interesting choice - inspiration from the Bradley - however I find this curious as the reason on the Bradley was due to it not being a Tank. One wonders of their APFSDS rounds arent up to par.
